Learning from experience...

                4 things we learnt from traveling and what we are doing  differently   Since the writing of my last blog I have moved exactly zero meters. Yes, you read right, what most people try to avoid when in the countryside we try to find. For the last four years both in the UK and abroad we have gone out in to the wilderness to either survey herps (reptiles and amphibians) for science or photography (see above image). Banana Clocks and the Great Wait

So, my plans of regular posts has gone to pot somewhat, but that was always a risk. One major reason for this is that Bryony and I have secured temp positions working at a well known organic farm. The following post is a ramble about more preparations that we have undertaken since my last post. Firstly, I would like to comment on my new job. My feelings are complex. The job itself is quite boring, the hours long and the task repetitive. I work on an assembly line filling crates (totes) with the correct items that will eventually form fruit and veg boxes. I do not wish to sound churlish, in fact I cannot praise the company highly enough. They pay well, have music, fantastic food and the bunch of people I work with are great salt of the earth people. I had not originally envisioned having a job during this stop gap between graduating and traveling, but now that I have one I am very glad that I did.
